What is the process for booking the villa?

All bookings for Wah Gwaan need to be processed through vrbo.com. Visit the page by clicking here. Type in your preferred dates, number of guests and follow the instructions. However, any questions can be answered by emailing the Villa manager at wahgwaanvilla@gmail.com

Who will be my points of contact when staying at Wah Gwaan?

The primary point of contact will be the Villa Manager, Sheila Forward. She will be the main point of contact from start to finish. However, the Housekeeper/cook will also be available to help.

How long is the travel time from the airport?

• Sangster International Airport (Montego Bay) - 90 minutes.*

• Norman Manley Airport (Kingston) 105 minutes*

In terms of safety and security, will we be safe during our stay?

There is an appointed, on-site security marshal, who also lives on-site. They patrol and monitor the property and surrounding grounds during the day and night. They will be introduced to you as part of your arrival.

When is comes to Emergency Services, what arrangements are available?

You will be shown as part of your arrival where to find Emergency numbers and contacts. Throughout the property there are prominently displayed fire extinguishers and fully equipped first aid kits. There will be contact details for a House Doctor who responds to calls and can attend the villa 24/7. As part of these contact details there will be numbers for an ambulance and the local Hospital in St. Ann’s Bay.

How is meal preparation and grocery shopping handled?

The housekeeper/cook will prepare all meals. Both the villa manager and the housekeeper/cook will assist with menu planning and shopping. Please ensure that any specific allergies are identified in advance and discussed. We can place home delivery orders with the local Supermarket, or you can visit the supermarket in person.

Do grocery stores accept credit cards?

Yes.

What do the villa staff do for us?

In preparation of your arrival the villa manager will consult with you directly. This will be to answer any queries or requests prior to your stay. The housekeeper/cook is on duty during the day. She will manage meal preparation and all housekeeping tasks, E.G Change bedding, fresh towels and appropriate villa laundry.  She will also be able to respond to many of your other day to day requirements.

How does Local Transportation work and how much does it cost?

You have a variety of choices for transportation. We have a trusted and recommended driver, who can be hired. You may also take advantage of our arrangement with Avis Car Rentals.

What are the points of interest close to the villa?

Many of the local points of interest in the area are identified in our Activities Leaflet. The villa manager and the housekeeper/cook may have additional suggestions for you to consider.

What is the cancellation policy for the villa?

The Rental Agreement details out the cancellation policy. In brief:

• Over 30 days prior to arrival, 100% refund

• 14 - 30 days prior to arrival, forfeit 50% of deposit

• Under 14 days, forfeit all payments.

Why should I choose ‘Wah Gwaan’ luxury villa for my vacation?

Beyond the seaside location, the impressive scenery and manicured grounds our villa is fully equipped with high end appliances and amenities. Our villa manager and housekeeper/cook are dedicated to ensuring you have the very best and most authentic experience.

Is the infinity pool and the cove dedicated to our villa?

The infinity pool is a shared pool. It is for the specific and private use only to the other five villas and their guests. Wah Gwaan is the closest to the pool, which is a terrific advantage point.
